Dating in the twenty first century has evolved a long way from dating in the 90’s. As a single person in the 90’s we had face to face encounters where there was no hiding or altering our physical appearance to make us look drastically different. If you met someone you didn’t like, you’d have to give a fake number if they happen to ask for your ‘digits’.

Today, our lives revolve around apps that give us the ability to look the way we want and swipe right on potential dates we deem interesting. All the while, not knowing if the person we selected is really the person who shows up at the first date. For people in their 40’s or 50’s this is an exceptionally challenging evolution.

Amy, Lisa, Laura and Christine, have been trying to find Mr. Right. Whether new or experienced in their dating adventures, each must endure some of the worst dates they’ve ever encountered. After dates with droolers ,mama’s boys, excessive talkers and worse, these four women finally  decide enough is enough. There HAS to be a better, more ‘unconventional’ way to meet the man of their dreams. They just need to figure out how!

Finding Keepers Movie

Creator’s Purpose:

My goal with this film was to highlight real, bad date stories in a fun and comedic way to not only show how things have changed in the dating world but also to give people relief to know they are not alone in their experiences. Anyone of Gen X age who is either in the dating world or knows people in the dating world can relate to the funny, but true stories shown in this movie. Consequently, I wanted to show how todays dating life doesn’t have to be dictated by social norms but rather we can find other, more unconventional ways to find love.
